Detectives investigating a homicide in Four Corners identified Anthony Jamal Loston, 24, of the 6200 block of Myers Street in Jeanerette, as a person who was present during and connected to the murder of Ronald Chillis Jr., 32, of Four Corners, Hebert said. Detectives obtained a warrant for his arrest on the charge of principal to second degree murder.
Loston turned himself in to Jeanerette City Marshals and subsequently arrested by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office at 10:41 a.m. Thursday, Hebert said. Detectives transported Loston to the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Morgan City to continue the investigation, the sheriff said.
