Aaron Hebert Sr.

Aaron Hebert Sr., 63, of Lamar, Missouri, passed away Monday, Oct. 20, 2014, surrounded by his family. He was born in Morgan City on Jan. 16, 1952.
Hebert went to Lamar from Louisiana about 17 years ago. He was employed first by Stanley’s and then went to work at Thorco Industries where he worked for the last 15 years. He enjoyed fishing, and cooking his beloved Cajun food for his friends and family. He enjoyed sharing stories of his past, kept to his Cajun upbringing, and enjoyed telling jokes. He also enjoyed playing the lottery and scratch off tickets.
He is survived by his sisters, Kathleen Daigle, Teda Scully, Brenda Wiggins and Margaret “Peachy” Adams; his companion of 13 years, Sandy Harris; his children, Darin Hebert and wife, Kristal, and Aaron Hebert Jr.; his grandchildren, Tre’ and Trevor; and one great-grandson, Kai.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and a brother, Sonny.
The family received friends at Konantz Warden Funeral Home in Lamar, Missouri, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22. An additional memorial service will be held at a later time in Morgan City.
