LIONEL T. BOWSER

Mr. Lionel T. Bowser, 66, a resident of Houston, Texas and native of Baldwin, died Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at 3:25 p.m., at St. Luke Hospital in Houston following a short illness.
He is survived by his wife, Balladette Ducrose Bowser of Houston; one son, Anthony Bowser of Houston; one stepson, Ty Hatcherson of Houston; one daughter, Kristin Floyd of Houston; two stepdaughters, Melody Nelson and Melanie Jordan, both of Houston; three brothers, Andrew Bowser of Franklin, Harold Bowser of Patterson and Gregory Bowser of Baton Rouge; five sisters, Marion Godfrey, Cardell B. Ina, Gwendolyn B. Maneaux and Carolyn Bowser, all of Baldwin, and Mary Wiltz of Lafayette; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Visitations will be observed Wednesday, Oct. 29, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Special Providence Baptist Church in Baldwin.
Burial rites will be read Wednesday, at 12 p.m., at that church, with the Rev. Paul Godfrey and the Rev. W.J. Otis officiating. Interment will follow in the Special Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
