JOSEPH HENRY SR.

Mr. Joseph Henry Sr., 73, a resident of Baldwin and native of Franklin, died Friday, October 17, 2014, at 10:35 p.m., at Baton Rouge General Hospital following a short illness.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, Nov. 1, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the Otis Mortuary Chapel.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at the mortuary, with the Rev. W.J. Otis Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Special Providence Cemetery in Baldwin.
Mr. Henry is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louise Yelling Henry of Baldwin; his mother, Mrs. Edith Williams Henry of Franklin; two sons, Joseph (Renee) Henry Jr. of Franklin and Michael (Tamyra) Henry of New Iberia; two daughters, Monica Ann (Walter) Henry of Baldwin and Janna Marie (Felton) Henry of Baldwin; two brothers, Horace (Fabiola) Henry Sr. and Charles (Martha) Henry, both of Franklin; one sister, Essie (Donald) Henry of Port Arthur, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
