Council on Aging trip

The St. Mary Council on Aging and a group of senior citizens recently made a trip to Pennsylvania. The group went shopping and exploring on their own to such landmarks as Independence Hall, Betsy Ross’ House, the mint, the Federal Reserve, the Holocaust Memorial, Logan Circle, Penn’s Landing and “The Rocky Steps” where this picture was taken. They participated in a guided lecture tour of the Biblical Tabernacle Reproduction at the Mennonite Center. The group took a step back in time at a village dedicated to early Pennsylvania German life and many other activities.
