A.J. and Sondra Dohmann are the winners of St. Mary Parish Community Founda-tion’s raffle of a seven-night trip to Rome and Florence, Italy, or a Royal Caribbean Cruise vacation in a VIP suite. The winning ticket was drawn Wednesday at Prevost House in Franklin. Prior to the drawing foundation board members and their guests were entertained by the Franklin Senior High School Marching Band. Above from left are ex-officio board member Alice Pecoraro, FSHS dance team member Vekaira Anderson and board chair Dr. Donna Tesi. Anderson drew the winning ticket. The foundation, an affiliate of Community Foundation of Acadiana, is a philanthropic organization dedicated to raising money to make do-nations to programs which impact the parish and en-hance quality of life. Since its inception foundation do-nations have included some $30,000 to local schools. Sponsors of this latest fund-raiser are Fab-Con Inc., Franklin Foundation Hospital, Marshall and Susan Guidry, Gregory and Brenda Hamer, Alfred and Gail Lippman, the Prevost House Bed and Breakfast, Teche Federal Bank, Teche Regional Medical Center, Thomson Smith and Leach Insurance Group Inc. and Dr. Leonard and Charlotte Wise.
