FLOYD TARDY SR.

Floyd Tardy Sr., 72, a native of Ashton and a resident of Four Corners, died Sunday, November 16, 2014, at 12 a.m., at Dauterive Hospital in New Iberia.
Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 22 at Jones Funeral Home in Franklin, from 12:15 p.m. until funeral services, at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the St. Jude Cemetery in Jeanerette. Min. Terry L. Joseph Sr. will officiate the services.
Floyd leaves to cherish his memories four daughters, Angel C. Tardy and Loretta M. Tardy of Four Corners, Flora A. Tardy of Dallas, TX, and Heather Z. Tardy of Lafayette; one son, Floyd Wilson of Baldwin; three children he helped to raise as his own, Kimberly Mannings of Houston, TX, Alfred Colbert Sr. of Newton, TX and Bernard Colbert of Baldwin; three brothers, Clifton Tardy of Ashton, Nedray Tardy of Beaumont, TX and Joseph Tardy of Baldwin; five sisters, Vivian Williams, Yvonne Tardy and Mrs. Cleveland (Linda) Alexis, all of Baldwin, Margaret Loston of Four Corners, and Mrs. Clayton (Lillie) Richards of Franklin; his 11 grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Tardy was preceded in death by his wife, one son, his parents, two grandchildren, three sisters and three brothers.
