Clarence ‘Cook’ Gunner

Clarence “Cook” Gunner, 63, a native of Bayou Sale and a resident of Franklin, died Monday, Nov. 17, 2014, at Teche Nursing Home.
Visitation will be Saturday at Jones Funeral Home in Franklin from 8 a.m. until funeral services at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the Golden Queen Cemetery of Centerville.
Survivors include six sisters, Rebecca Banks and Lillian Augustus, both of Verdunville, Ethel Gunner, of Franklin, Diane Cantrell and Mary Dixon, both of Houston, and Wella Jordan of Aurora, Colorado; and three brothers, James Gunner, of Baton Rouge, Alton Gunner Sr., of Loreauville, and Michael Gunner Sr., of Verdunville.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
