Food for Families

The 28th annual “Food for Families” food drive to benefit the Emergency Aid Center is Tuesday. Collection sites and their times of operation are at the Church of Assumption Church Hall in Franklin from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Calvary Bible Church in Centerville from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Baldwin Fire Dept. from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Non-perishable food and monetary donations are accepted. Items needed include dry beans, macaroni and cheese, cornbread mix, canned vegetables, etc., as well as hygiene items, toilet tissue and paper towels. The Emergency Aid Center is a United Way for South Louisiana agency.
