Gilven Joseph Verrett

Gilven Joseph Verrett, a native of Stephensville and a resident of Patterson, passed away Thursday, Nov. 27, 2014, at his residence at the age of 77.
Gilven leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 27 years, Roberta Sampey Verrett; six children, Rhonda Filman, Jeffery Verrett, Claudette Southern, Curtis Schmitz, Cynthia Schmitz, and Anthony Verrett; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, two sisters, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was observed Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014, at Hargrave Funeral Home from 4 p.m. until time of services at 7 p.m. Dismissal followed the services.
