Bernadine Elizabeth Rovaris-Irving

Bernadine Elizabeth Rovaris-Irving, 89, a resident of Morgan City and native of New Orleans, displaced by Hurricane Katrina, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2014, at her daughter’s residence in Morgan City.
Irving was a retired secretary for Dillard University.
Visitation will be from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the Corpus Christi Church, 2022 Saint Bernard Ave., New Orleans, with a rosary being recited at 9 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the St. Louis 1 Cemetery in New Orleans.
Survivors include her children, Felix E. P. Irving II and Sharon Ann Irving, both of Morgan City; one sister, Theresa Vivian Rovaris-Morris, of Lake City, Florida; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.
