In appreciation

Judge James R. McClelland, of the 16th Judicial District Court, was presented with a plaque Tuesday by court staff in recognition of having presided over St. Mary Parish Drug Court for the past four years. McClelland, pictured seated, has handled 200-240 per week while presiding over juvenile, young adult and adult drug courts as well as DWI court. Judge Vincent Borne will take his turn at presiding over the programs in January.
