Fallen Warrior Memorial brick purchase deadline Sunday

The deadline is approaching to purchase a memorial brick to be placed at the Fallen Warriors Memorial on the grounds of the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium.
Phase 2 of the brick sale ends Sunday, according to project co-founder Marc Distefano.
Purchase a brick to honor a veteran, whether living or dead, with ties to the Tri-City area. In addition to the purchase of the brick, patrons also may order a mini replica brick.
The Fallen Warriors Memorial Project is spearheaded by a group of local Tri-City area veterans and is a project of the City of Morgan City in collaboration with the St. Mary Parish chapter of Community Foundation of Acadiana.
A memorial to our Fallen Warriors was installed in the new Cypress Park located adjacent to the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium, along with a Walk of Honor brick walkway leading up to and surrounding the Fallen Warriors monument.
This unique and permanent tribute honors the ultimate sacrifice of Tri-City area men and women and expresses the everlasting gratitude of its citizens.

Payments may be made online at the same website as well.
The cost for a 4x8 brick with one to three lines of text plus an art image, if desired, is $250 each. An 8x8 brick with one to six lines of text plus the optional art image is $500.
The 1x3 mini replica bricks are $75 each, while the 3x3 mini replica is $100.
