Irene Daigle Ribardi

Irene Daigle Ribardi, 65, a resident of Bayou L’Ourse, passed away Monday, Dec. 29, 2014.
Irene was born on July 1, 1949, in Morgan City, the daughter of Joseph Daigle Sr. and Alice Daigle.
Irene was a loving, caring and compassionate person who was of a giving nature. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. Irene was an avid poker machine player who could spend hours at the game.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her three daughters, Belinda Comeaux and husband, Glen, of Bayou L’Ourse, Judy Landry and husband, Troy, of Bayou L’Ourse, and Donna Jewett and husband, Roy, of Bayou L’Ourse; five grandchildren, Courtney Jewett, Kip Comeaux, Brandi Landry, Alli Comeaux and Chance Jewett; one brother, Roy Daigle Sr., of Patterson; four sisters, Rita Domingue, of Pierre Part, Linda Alleman, of Pierre Part, Deborah Bourque, of Gibson and Pat Aucoin, of Belle River; along with numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren and friends.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Alice Daigle; her beloved husband of 32 years, David “Bud” Ribardi Jr.; two brothers, Dudley Daigle Sr. and Joseph “Butch” Daigle Jr.; and two sisters, Blanche Verdin and Theresa Michel.
Pallbearers are Chance Jewett, Eddie Ribardi Jr., Garrett Topham IV, Glen Comeaux. Kip Comeaux, Roy Jewett and Troy Landry.
Funeral services will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, at 1 p.m. A visitation will be held at Twin City Funeral Home Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and will resume Friday from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. She will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the services.
