Police Reports 1-1-15

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Dedric Brown, 21, of Main Street, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 3:46 p.m. on a charge of theft and was held on $1,000 bond.
Charles Boudreaux, 49, of Sanders Street, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 3:46 p.m. on a charge of theft and held on $1,000 bond.
The following four arrests stem from officers executing a search warrant on the 800 block of Iberia Street. The Franklin Police Department, with the assistance of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division, Morgan City Police Department, Berwick Police Department and Patterson Police Department made the following arrests Tuesday at approximately 11:45 p.m.:
Kevin James, 29, of Iberia Street, Franklin, was charged with possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia. No bond was set.
Alice James, 58, of Iberia Street, Franklin, was charged with possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia and keeping a disorderly place. She was released on $3,000 bond.
Er’keyonna Blanks, 17, of Iberia Street, was charged with battery on an officer after reportedly hitting the officer in the head. No bond was set.
William Blanks, 47, of Iberia Street, was charged with disturbing the peace by loud and profane language and resisting an officer by force. Blanks reportedly was “kicking his legs and swinging his arms as officers were placing him under arrest.” No bond was set.
