Lucius Calvin Jr.

Lucius Calvin Jr., 46, a native and resident of Patterson, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, at Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma.
He is survived by his mother, Emma L. Stackhouse Calvin, of Patterson; one son, Jai’Lucin Calvin, of Thibodaux; three daughters, Paisjah Calvin, of Morgan City, An’Jaleyn Haynes, of Thibodaux and Lordon Calvin, of Patterson; one brother, David Calvin, of Opelousas; and three sisters, Lisa Calvin, of Patterson, Jerilyn Calvin, of Houston and Marie Calvin, of Opelousas,
Visitation was observed from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke Baptist Church in Patterson. Burial rites was read at the church at 11 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Keith Verrette officiating. Interment will be in Home Industrial Cemetery in Patterson.
Otis Mortuary Inc. of Franklin is in charge of arrangements.
