Franklin sweeps Jeanerette

The Franklin Senior High School Hornets posted a pair of wins over the Jeanerette Tigers in the season-opening double-header Saturday at the FSHS Baseball Diamond.
Franklin (2-0) will take on the Centerville Bulldogs today in Centerville at 4 p.m. if weather permits.
Franklin toppled Jeanerette in Saturday’s opener 17-0 with pitcher Allen Randle earning the mound win.
Franklin pitcher Brent Ina collected the mound victory after hurling the Hornets past the Tigers 15-5 in five innings in the second contest.
Franklin (2-0) will travel to face the Centerville Bulldogs today at 4 p.m.
