Funeral services for Stella Granger Landry will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Baldwin during a 12 p.m. Mass of Christian burial. She will be laid to rest in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Fr. Gregory Cormier will officiate the Mass and conduct the services. A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday at the church from 9 a.m. until time of service.
Stella was a native of New Iberia and a resident of Jeanerette for the past 16 years. She passed away at the age of 76 on Monday morning, March 30, 2015, at Iberia Medical Center.
Survivors include three children, Kenneth Boudreaux and his wife, Linda; Chandi L. Prados and her husband, Karl; and Stephanie L. Coleman and her husband, Eric; nine grandchildren, Karl Prados Jr. and his wife, Tara; Nicole Prados, Matthew Prados, Phillip Boudreaux, Logan Prados, Erica Coleman, Kenneth Boudreaux Jr., Jake Prados and Eric Coleman Jr.; one great granddaughter, Bella Prados; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Amanette Patin Granger; five brothers, Carroll, Roland, Nolan, Anthony and Alex Granger; one sister, Inez Domingue; her former husband, Michael J. Landry; and her mother-in-law, Amy Boudreaux Landry.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kenneth Boudreaux, Phillip Boudreaux, Karl Prados, Karl Prados Jr., Rhett Lanie, Eric Coleman, Eric Coleman Jr., Jake Prados and Kenneth Boudreaux Jr.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made in Stella’s name to the Arc of St. Mary, Building Fund, P.O. Box 3, Centerville, LA 70522.
