Parr and Martin to be joined in marraiage

Carey Ordoyne and Ralph Robert Martin Jr. of Baldwin wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Ann Martin to Darren “Red” Edward Parr.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Robert Martin Sr. of Raceland, Ms. Paula C. Ordoyne of Labadieville, Ms. Acy Wilson of Raceland, the late Mr. Rene Phillip Ordoyne of Raceland and the late Claude Cavalier of Labadieville. She graduated with honors from West St. Mary High School in 2005 and received a bachelor of science degree in agriscience from McNeese State University in Lake Charles in 2010. She is currently employed by Lafourche Parish School Board as an agriscience teacher at Lockport Middle School.
The prospective groom is the son of Charlotte Parr and the late John Parr of Houma. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Vedros of Lockport and the late Ms. Verna Punch Vedros of Lockport. He is a 1999 graduate of Terrebonne High School and is currently employed with Coca Cola.
The wedding ceremony will take place Saturday, April 18 at 1 p.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Baldwin.
