LOUIS COURVILLE

December 5, 1932 — April 23, 2015
Louis Courville, 82, a native of Sunset, Louisiana, and resident of Morgan City, Louisiana, passed away at Morgan City Health Care Center Thursday, April 23, 2015, following a lengthy illness.
Louis was an Army veteran, having served in the Korean War. He worked for Sun Oil Company for 15 years and retired from Spitale Drugs.
Louis was a very family-oriented man. His biggest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Dorothy “Dottie” St. Germain Courville of Morgan City; his two daughters, Kellye Mayon and Denise Compton; five grandsons, Chad Landry, Brandon Landry, Beau Landry, C.J. Compton and Zach Compton; three great-grandchildren, Mackenley Landry, Hayden Landry and Larson Landry; and one sister, Joyce Brasseaux of Sunset.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harriet and Ed Courville.
It was his wishes to donate his body to Tulane Medical School.
There will be no public services.
