WILTON P. 'POOCHIE' CRAPPELL JR.

Wilton P. “Poochie” Crappell Jr., 55, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at Teche Regional Medical Center.
Poochie was an avid outdoorsman who loved to spend his time hunting, fishing, camping and cooking outside on the grill. He enjoyed, most of all, spending time with his son, Tim, listening to music. Poochie also loved to dance and pass a good time with his family and friends. His family and friends will truly miss him and he will never be forgotten.
Poochie is survived by his son, Timothy Morden Crappell of Morgan City; his mother and stepfather, Virginia C. and James Hufstetler Sr., also of Morgan City; four brothers, Hilton Rhodes Jr., Jeffery Hufstetler, James Hufstetler and Brian Hufstetler; two sisters, Dawn Fromenthal and Lydia Landry; one aunt, Joan Olivier; and his companion, Linda Mullet.
He was preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Wilton and Virginia Crappell Sr.; and one sister, Vickie Toups.
Visitation will take place today, Monday, May 11, 2015, at Twin City Funeral Home beginning at 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. and will resume on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at the funeral home starting at 8:30 a.m. until time of service at noon. Poochie will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
