Pontiff and Breaux to exchange vows

Darrell and Kim Braquet Pontiff of Carencro wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Krista Pontiff to Ryan Breaux.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Teurlings Catholic High School in Lafayette and Louisiana State University at Eunice. She is the granddaughter of Donald and Shirley Braquet and Allen Pontiff and the late Gloria Pontiff. She is currently employed as a registered nurse with University Hospital and Clinics.
The prospective groom is the son of Jessie and Cindy Scelfo Breaux Jr. of Franklin. He is a graduate of both Hanson Memorial High School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is the grandson of Anthony and Shirley Scelfo and the late Jessie Sr. and Laura Belle Breaux. He is currently employed as a tier two engineer with Global Data Systems.
The wedding ceremony will take place Saturday, May 16 at 1:30 p.m. at Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Lafayette.
