FFD scholarship awarded

The Franklin Volunteer Fire Department 2015 E. Louis Boudreaux Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Allis Armato at Berwick High School.
Armato is a graduating senior at Berwick High School and has maintained a 4.0 GPA and achieved many honors for her studies and extracurricular activities. She is planning on pursuing a degree to become a nurse practitioner.
Franklin Volunteer Fire Department President Toddy Boudreaux said that the scholarship was established in honor and memory of E. “Louis” Boudreaux, a 20+ year member of the Franklin Fire Department who recently passed. Louis was a dedicated firefighter that help guide the fire service of St. Mary Parish for many years.
