Morgan City has three first-team selections

Morgan City High School placed three on the All-District 7-4A softball team.
Third baseman Celest Williams, pitcher Tyler Hebert, and utility selection Brandi Ingram were the Lady Tigers’ representatives on the top squad.
Morgan City had three second-team selections, first baseman Aliya Green, second baseman Kennedy Hebert, and outfielder Dwanna LeBeau.
Earning honorable mention status for the Lady Tigers were Katelyn Alvarez, Scottie Metrejean, Mattie Rivere, Brandi Albarado and Alaysia Williams.
Morgan City finished its district season with a 6-2 mark in district play.
District champion Assumption swept the individual district honors as Kirstyn Torres was named Most Valuable Player and Kirk Delatte was named Coach of the Year.
