Police: Man apprehended on rape charge

Morgan City Police have apprehended a 24-year-old man, wanted for the alleged rape of a girl in April, Saturday in Ascension Parish, according to a news release.
Tyler Kapp, 24, whose last known address was in the Berwick-Morgan City area, was wanted on a warrant for forcible rape, police said. The warrant was obtained as a result of a complaint and investigation into the alleged rape of a female juvenile in April, police said.
