Day comes to the library

One of the nation’s top touring family artists, Roger Day, will be in Franklin Friday at the St. Mary Parish Library to present his concert “Marsh Mud Madness.” Day’s concerts are action-filled adventures that exercise mind and muscle, body and brain. Day keeps his young audiences involved and captivated. His infectiously fun concerts inspire each child to discover his and her own talents, give flight to the imagination, dream big and shake up their brains. Together with the Savannah Music Festival and the University of Georgia Sea Grant Foundation, Day has collaborated on a collection of his original songs that introduce students to the Atlantic seacoast ecology. He presents this work in a new DVD and his “Marsh Mud Madness” family concert. The concert begins at 10 a.m. on Friday and will be repeated at 2 p.m. at the Bayou Vista branch.
