Police Reports 6-17-15
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Michael Matthew, 35, of Houston, was arrested Tuesday at 11:11 a.m. on a Harris Country, Texas, warrant charging him with aggravated assault. No bond was set.
Jeanaux F. Kenner, 23, of 1012 Grace St., Morgan City, was arrested Tuesday at 8:36 p.m. on charges of speeding, windshield condition, mirror violation, open alcohol container, no driver’s license, resisting by force, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Also arrested was Johnetta M. Kenner, 56, same address and time, on charges of disturbing the peace by obscene language, interfering with an investigation and resisting by force.
A deputy reportedly observed a car travelling at a high rate of speed on Aycock Street in Morgan City and stopped the vehicle. He made contact with the driver, Jeanaux Kenner, and while speaking with Kenner the deputy reportedly observed an open can of beer inside the car. The deputy also reportedly discovered that Kenner did not have a driver’s license with him. A Morgan City Police Officer responded to the scene to assist the deputy. As the traffic stop investigation progressed, Johnetta Kenner reportedly approached the scene while using profane language and repeatedly refused the deputy’s orders to clear the scene of the investigation. As the deputy and Morgan City officer conducted the arrests, both subjects allegedly forcefully pulled away. A handgun and two small scales were reportedly located inside the vehicle along with small fragments of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana. No bonds were set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Keith Davis, 30, of Willow Street, Franklin, today at 2:27 a.m. on a warrant charging him with simple battery and a Third Ward Court failure to appear warrant on charges of second offense loud music and suspended driver’s license. He was held on $1,000 bond.
