Charles 'Lil-Blue' Renthrope

Charles “Lil-Bue” Renthrope, 71, a native and resident of Franklin, died at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at the Franklin Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Visitation will be observed from 8 a.m. until the funeral at 1 p.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home in Franklin. Ministers Preston Watson and Willie Jones will officiate. Burial will follow in the St. Jules Catholic Church Cemetery in Franklin.
He is survived by his wife, Sheril Jones-Renthrope of Lafayette; four sons, Wayne Paul Jones of Opelousas, Eric Renthrope of Morgan City, Charles Ray Renthrope of Dallas, and Glynn Hatcherson of Firestone, Colorado; two daughters, Kathy Ireland Thomas of Houston and Chasetle Tiny Jones-Chatman of Lafayette; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, his mother, one son and a brother.
