SHIRLEY ANSLUM GUIDRY

Funeral services for Shirley Anslum Guidry will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin. She will be laid to rest in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Centerville. The Rev. Sue Pugh will conduct the services.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday at Ibert’s Mortuary from 9 a.m. until time of service.
Ms. Shirley was a native of Charenton, a former longtime resident of Berwick, and a resident of Patterson for the past five years. She passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015, at 2:20 a.m. at Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City.
Survivors include her sons, Joe Clements Jr. and his wife, Julie, and Mark Clements and his wife, Gina; her grandchildren, Dex, Devin and his wife Erica, Alex, and Jake Clements; her great-grandchildren, Jax and Ava Clements; her sister, Nell Mayea; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmo “Lightning” Guidry Jr.; her parents, Ervin Anslum Sr. and Violet Voisin Anslum; one granddaughter, Angel E. Clements; her brother, Ervin Anslum Jr.; and her sister, Gladys A. Henry.
Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Clements Jr., Mark Clements, Devin Clements, Charles Mayea Jr., Ronnie Grizzaffi, and Jason Romero.
