Vehicle crashes into trailer

At about 2 a.m. Sunday, a vehicle ran into a mobile home on Stephensville Road in Stephensville. Two occupants of the vehicle were transported to Teche Regional Medical Center as a result, St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office Maj. Ginny Higgins said. The driver, Dallas Marcantel, 20, of Morgan City, was charged with reckless operation of a motor vehicle with accident and failure to wear a seat belt.
