EARLEN GAUDET BEZET OURSO

Earlen Gaudet Bezet Ourso, 92, a native of Sorrel, Louisiana, and resident of Morgan City, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 13, 2015, at Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City.
Visitation will be at Wilbert Funeral Home in Plaquemine on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, from 8:30 a.m. until religious services at noon, conducted by the Rev. Carl Rushing. Interment will follow at Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery in Belle River.
Earlen is survived by her stepchildren, Gwenlyn Ourso Peterson and husband Danny, John Louis Ourso, Rodney Ourso and wife Laurie, Perry Ourso, and Debbie Elmer and husband Morel; 10 step grandchildren; 16 step great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Davis Bezet; second husband, John Ourso Jr.; parents, Arthur and Eva Landry Gaudet; sisters, Edith Deshotel and Ellen Topham; and brothers, Arthur “Pete” Gaudet Sr. and Elward “Boogie” Gaudet.
Pallbearers will be John L. Ourso, Rodney Ourso, Ryan Ramagos, Robert Wisdom, Shea M. Ourso, and Eric Peterson.
Earlen loved the outdoors and reading her bible.
