CRAIG ANTHONY VERDINE JR.
Craig Anthony Verdine Jr., age 22, a resident of Patterson, Louisiana, and a resident of Bourg, Louisiana, passed away Monday, July 13, 2015, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at 6:58 p.m.
Craig was a helicopter operator for Bristow Group, an offshore helicopter transport service in Galliano, Louisiana.
Visitation will be observed Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1011 First St., Patterson, Louisiana., from 9 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Herbert Bennerfield III serving as the Celebrant. Entombment will follow the Mass Services in the Morgan City Mausoleum in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Craig loved his family and friends with all his heart. He loved playing with his three nephews, writing and producing his own music, fishing and hanging out with his friends.
Those left to cherish wonderful memories of Craig are his caring and devoted parents, Craig Anthony Verdine Sr. and Sylvia Verdine of Patterson, Louisiana; one loving sister, Brittany Talbot and her husband, Toby Talbot, of Bourg, Louisiana; three nephews, Javeon Talbot, Coby Talbot and Cruz Talbot, all of Bourg, Louisiana; maternal and paternal grandparents, Johnny and Celita Verdun of Patterson, Louisiana, and Gladys Verdine of Carson, California; as well as several aunts and uncles, Chaisty Bourgeois and her husband, Chance Bourgeois, Stacey Verdun and his wife, Kelly Verdun, all of Patterson, Louisiana, and Chris Verdine and his wife, Denise Verdine, of Carson, California; and a host of high school classmates, co-workers and other relatives and friends.
Craig was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Charles Verdine; and both his maternal and paternal great-grandparents.
Pallbearers will be Jerome Rudolph, Chase Boudreaux, Dylan Verdun, Tyler Marcotte, Austin Booty, Anthony Herzog and Brent Beniot.
Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City-Franklin-Houma-Jeanerette is in charge of arrangements.
