St. Mary Central 10U ends season

St. Mary Central 10U All-Stars had a tough weekend at the AAA South Regional Tournament in Ponchatoula.
The St. Mary Central team opened the tournament with a 7-2 loss to Ville Platte, the District 7 champion.
Jude Vasquez suffered the setback on the mound for the locals.
St. Mary Central regrouped to beat Franklinton 11-6 on Saturday. Luke Thomas was the winning pitcher for St. Mary Central.
The 10-year-old All-Stars bowed out of the tournament with an 11-3 loss to West Monroe on Sunday. Hayden Robinson took the loss on the mound for the All-Stars.
The loss ended the St. Mary Central 10U All-Stars’ season.
