LOUISE PARRAH NAQUIN
July 30, 1930 - July 19, 2015
A Mass of Christian burial for Louise Parrah Naquin will be celebrated Thursday, July 23, 2015, at 2 p.m., at the Church of the Assumption in Franklin. Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery Mausoleum. Father Lloyd Benoit will be the Celebrant for the Mass and conduct the services.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin from 12 p.m. until time of dismissal at 1:45 p.m.
Mrs. Louise was a native of Jeanerette and a longtime resident of Franklin. She passed away at the Franklin Health Care Center on Sunday, July 19, 2015, at the age of 84, just 11 days before her 85th birthday.
Survivors include her children, Pamela Carlin and her husband, George; and Ronnie Naquin and his wife, JoAnn; her sister, Sylvia Bella; five grandchildren, Deana Young and her husband, Michael; Benjamin Drinkwater and his wife, Stephanie; Christine Drinkwater; Amy Meaux and her husband, Eric; and Jacob Segrave and his wife, Katie; and eight great grandchildren, Emilie and Reece Young, Jack and Clara Drinkwater, Carlie and Brooke Burton, Olivia Meaux and Logan Segrave.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sterling John Naquin; and her parents, Sterling A. Parrah and Jeanne Olivier.
