GARY SMITH

Gary Smith, 55 a resident of Franklin and a native of Lafayette, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 1:19 a.m., at Franklin Foundation Hospital.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, July 25, at Jones Funeral in Franklin, from 10 a.m. until funeral services at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Rickey Fine serving as the officiant. Burial will follow services in the Oaklawn Cemetery.
Gary leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Debra F. Smith of Franklin; his mother, Beatrice F. Smith of Franklin; two sons, Zachary “Zack” Fine of Franklin and Trelon Turner of Lafayette; two daughters, Sheniqua “Nicole” Fine and Jalissa Fine, both of Franklin; two brothers, Brian Smith of Franklin and Shawn Smith (Alanna) of Kaplan, LA; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Gary was preceded in death by his father, and two siblings.
