GREGORY PAUL BUTLER

Gregory Paul Butler, 51, a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, and a resident of Patterson, Louisiana, passed away at 4:35 p.m. Tuesday July 28, 2015, at Ochsner Medical Center in Jefferson.
Visitation will be observed from 8a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral Saturday at the Railroad Avenue Church of Christ, 1105 Railroad Ave., Morgan City, with Stanley Rankins officiating at the services. Entombment will follow in Mausoleum Section of the Ibert’s Memorial Park in Patterson.
He is survived by his wife, Ara Marie Butler of Patterson; his parents, Joseph Sr. and Mary Butler of Patterson; four children, Gregory Paul Granger of Lafayette, and Jabari Wade Granger, Onika Richardson and Eric King, all of New Iberia; three grandchildren; three brothers, Neal Butler, David Butler and Joseph Butler Jr., all of Patterson; one sister, Berthena Butler-King of Patterson, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one niece, his mother-in-law and his father-in-law.
