RUDOLPH J. VILO SR.

Rudolph J. Vilo Sr., 83, a native and a resident of Patterson, Louisiana, passed away at 1:50 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, 2015 at his home.
Visitation will be observed from 9 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Friday at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1011 First St., Patterson. A recitation of the Rosary will begin at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow the Mass in the Mausoleum Section of the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Patterson.
He is survived by his three sons, Rudolph J. Vilo Jr. of New Orleans, Randolph Vilo of Patterson, and Reginald Vilo of Charenton; six daughters, Mrs. Roger (Joslyn) Cannon of Berwick Beverly Cannon of Patterson, Thelma Sanford Vilo of New Iberia, Yvette Vilo and Yvonne Vilo, both of Patterson, and Toni Stevenson of Virginia; one brother, Dr. James Valeau of Hayward, California; one sister, Dianne Johnson of Patterson; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife and his siblings.
