RIDE BRACELETS
Cajun Coast Visitors & Convention Bureau shoebox float contest accepting entries. First prize in each of four age divisions is a ride bracelet for the 80th annual Louisiana Shrimp & Petroleum Festival on Labor Day weekend in Morgan City. A People’s Choice Award winner also will receive a ride bracelet. Completed floats must be brought to Cajun Coast Visitors & Convention office, 900 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Morgan City no later than Aug. 20. Winners contacted via telephone and announced on social media Sept. 1. Entries will be on display at the visitor center throughout the festival.
