CCHS football game is Thursday

Central Catholic High School’s football game with Lafayette Christian will be played Thursday in Lafayette instead of Friday.
While the game is listed on the Louisiana High School Athletic Association’s website as a Friday game on both team’s schedules, it always has been a Thursday game on the official schedule, Central Catholic coach Tommy Minton said he learned from Lafayette Christian last Friday.
The change also has prompted the Central Catholic volleyball team to move their game with Terrebonne to today. Junior varsity action will begin at 4:30 p.m., with varsity to follow at 5:30 p.m.
