Bayou Vista Knights of Columbus Annual Campaign for People with Intellectual Disabilities Can Shake (Tootsie Roll Drive) from 8 a.m. until, on Friday-Saturday, Oct. 16-17. Friday at intersection of Saturn and Southeast Boulevard, Bayou Vista; and Saturday at Walmart. All donations deposited to Bayou Vista Elementary Special Services account.

Of Morgan City accepting public housing applications for all unit sizes from 8-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. Oct. 27. Section 8 applications accepted 8-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. Oct. 28. Must provide: current proof of all income, photo ID for all applicants over age 18, and certified birth certificates and Social Security cards for household members of all ages.
