FFH drive benefits Emergency Aid Center

Representatives from Franklin Foundation Hospital participated in a food drive to support the local Franklin Emergency Aid Center for United Way of South Louisiana during the month of September.
Through generous donations from FFH representatives, 1,770 items of food and hygiene items with $ 500 in cash to purchase meat products were collected.
Employees, physicians, volunteers, board members and supervisors from all departments participated and were divided into nine teams. Evidence of the team participation was posted in the Bistro for everyone to view. The competition was sponsored by the dietary department employees as their department community outreach project.
“The representatives of Franklin Foundation Hospital really stepped up to the plate to support this important outreach program in our community,” said Craig Cudworth, acting CEO. “Our employees and representatives really care about the wellbeing of the residents we serve in West St. Mary Parish”.
