A place for American flags after their service

The Marine Corp League, Boy Scout Troop 49 and VFW Post 4222 dedicated the Retired Flag Box recently. This box is located at the VFW Post 4222, 1504 Sandra St., Morgan City, and is for the deposit of all American flags that are no longer of service. The box was donated by the Post Office and painted by Prime Coating. The graphics were done by Elite Graphics. Pictured from left are Maine Corp League Detachment No. 600 Commandant David Martin Sr;.
