Class C: first place, Ronnie Howard of Arkansas, 52.42; second place, Tim Gilmore of Louisiana, 50.83; third place (tie) Will Wade of Texas, 50.42 and Terry Brown of Alabama, 49.26.
Gilmore defeated Brown in three games and then lost to Howard in three games giving him the class championship.
Class E: first, Danny Patterson of Texas, 48.95; second, Orval Gibson of Arkansas, 47.89; third (tie) Linda Dodson of Louisiana, 38.89 and Curtis Burson of Texas, 48.89.
Also both locals, Dodson and Gilmore, pitched three games over their average in the seeding round.
