Police Reports 10-29-15
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Jeremy Williams, 34, of 802 Ninth St., Morgan City, was arrested on Wednesday at 9:50 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on the charges of possession of cocaine, operating a vehicle not covered by security, and failure to give required signal. No bail was set.
The sheriff’s Narcotics Division made the following arrests:
McKinley Jordan, 64, of 519 Big Four Corners Road, Four Corners, was arrested on Wednesday at 4:58 p.m. and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Jordan was released on a summons to appear in court.
Jarvis Richard, 32, of 207 Newman St., Baldwin, was arrested on Wednesday at 5:57 p.m. and charged with possession of Schedule II drugs (Lortab) and resisting an officer. He was released after posting $1,000 bond.
Kenneth Benoit, 34, of 122 Teddy St., Pierre Part, was arrested on Wednesday at 8:06 p.m. on an Assumption Parish warrant charging him with failure to appear on the charge of non-support. No bail was set.
Dearius Kenner, 28, of 312 Wren St., Morgan City, was arrested on Thursday at 12:47 a.m. and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute; resisting an officer; violation of a controlled dangerous substance law (drug free zone); transactions involving drug proceeds; a Morgan City Police warrant on a charge of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute; possession of a firearm in presence of a controlled dangerous substance; possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; possession of marijuana with intent to distribute; transactions involving proceeds from CDS activity; and third offense possession of drug paraphernalia. No bail was set.
Chief Sabria McGuire reported the Franklin Police Department made the following arrests:
Andreney Broussard, 19, of Cayce Street, Franklin, was arrested on Wednesday at 12:56 p.m. and charged with disturbing the peace by fighting and resisting an officer. Broussard was processed and released on a $1,500.00 bond.
Jaquarius Stansbury, 19, of Robinson Street, Franklin, was arrested on Wednesday at 9:46 p.m. on a warrant on the charge of disturbing the peace by fighting. Stansbury was processed and released on a $500.00 bond.
