Marine Corps League poker run is Saturday

The 15th annual Marine Corps League, St. Mary Detachment, Motorcycle Poker Run will be held Saturday in Morgan City. The St. Mary Detachment will also hold a barbecue fundraiser starting at 10:30 a.m.
Registration is $20 a bike and $15 a rider. Walk-in registration will be accepted 7 to 9 a.m. Saturday.
The ride begins and ends at Daiquiri & Company located at 7550 La. 182 East in Morgan City in the East Gate Shopping Center. First bike out is 9 a.m. and last bike in is at 1 p.m.
Prizes will be $200, first; $100, second; $75 third; and $25, worst hand. To be eligible for prize money, participants must be 18 years or older.
Poker Run rules for the escorted ride include:
—Must stay in established safe zone.
—No passing.
—Ride two abreast only.
—Must follow road captain’s directions.
—Overconsumption of alcohol will not be tolerated.
Live music will be featured from 1 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the East Gate Shopping Center’s parking lot.
