Erath Lady Bobcats top HMS Lady Tigers

ERATH _ The Erath Lady Bobcats gained a 30-17 season-opening win over the Hanson Memorial Lady Tigers here Tuesday at the EHS Gym.
Erath secured a 15-3 lead over the Lady Tigers in the first quarter before building a 23-7 cushion at the halftime. Erath went on a 15-10 run in the second half en route to a 30-17 win.
Casey Fitzgerald led the Hanson Lady Tigers in scoring with seven points while Sarah Daniel tossed in six points and Baylee Young finished with four points.
Hanson will play in the Catholic High Tourney which is scheduled for next Monday and Tuesday at CHSNI.
