GWENDOLYN ROSE SANCHEZ

December 30, 1955 — December 7, 2015
Gwendolyn Rose Sanchez, 59, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, born to the late Clayton and Rose Wiggins, went to her heavenly reward Monday, Dec. 7, 2015, in Morgan City.
Gwen was a loving and caring lady who loved her family dearly. She loved to go out singing karaoke, enjoyed her flower garden, and arts and crafts. She made and hand painted outdoor art, created centerpieces for her home and many treasured items that will be passed down for generations to come.
Gwen leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband of 41 wonderful years, Douglas Sanchez; two daughters, Lisa Sanchez, and Wanda Sanchez Jett and her husband, Chris; one stepson, Michael Sanchez and wife, Sonya; one grandson, Cade Olivarez; and two brothers, Ronald Wiggins, and Glen Wiggins and his wife, Charlotte. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and countless friends who loved her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Rose Wiggins; and her brother, Roland Wiggins.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, at Hargrave Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Hargrave Funeral Home begin at 2 p.m., with graveside services to follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.
