Mega Force will appear at St. Mary churches

The Gulf Coast Baptist Association, a group of 16 Southern Baptist Churches located primarily in St. Mary Parish, will host Mega Force, a Christian ministry based in Texas that will be ministering throughout St. Mary Parish from Sunday through Tuesday.
The members of Mega Force are former professional athletes and bodybuilders who perform unusual feats of strength. They break wooden baseball bats across their legs, bend metal bars while holding them in their teeth, tear through thick phone books with their bare hands, and bust concrete blocks with their arms.
On Sunday night, Jan. 31, Mega Force will be featured at both the Bayou Vista Baptist Church in Bayou Vista and the Little Pass Baptist Church in Charenton for 6 p.m. presentations. On Monday night, Feb. 1, at 6:30 p.m. at the West St. Mary Civic Center, Mega Force is leading a communitywide event in which they will demonstrate numerous feats of strength and share a positive message. On Tuesday night, Feb. 2, at 6:30 p.m., at the Bayou Vista Community Center, they will be leading a second communitywide event.
Admission is free. A freewill offering will be received at each service.
