Scouting Volunteer of the Year

James Dugas, center, receives the Chitimacha District Boy Scouts Of America Volunteer of the Year Award from fellow Scouters Frank Guarisco, left, and George Williams, right, at the recent awards banquet held in Patterson. Dugas was thanked by all attending for his volunteer contributions to The Boy Scouts Of America for many years. Dugas as well as Williams and Guarisco were instrumental in the building of Scout Camp Brownell located in Stephensville, as well as projects at the Council Camp Mountain Lost Bayou near Ville Platte.
