Krewe of Spirit Parade

Holy Cross Elementary School culminated Catholic Schools Week and began the Mardi Gras holidays with its first Krewe of Spirit Mardi Gras Parade on Friday. Pre-K3 and Pre-K4 students rode in floats decorated by their parents and pulled by fifth- and sixth-graders. The parade began with a blessing by the Rev. Clyde Mahler of Holy Cross Church and paraded for the student body and hundreds of well-wishers. They were joined by the Krewe of Adonis royalty.
